Across the UK and the US, we are enjoying a bank holiday weekend with some great weather, which is a turn up for the books, here in the UK.

Whilst here in the UK, it is simply a May Bank Holiday weekend (with not really any meaning to it), in the US, the bank holiday weekend is for Memorial Day.

The last Monday in May is Memorial Day for the US and a time to commemorate all men and women who have died serving in the US military. It is also traditionally recognised as the start of the Summer season.
