About Me

Who am I?

My name is Laura, I am a trainee solicitor, soon to be fully qualified solicitor and a part-time blogger.

Where are you from?

I am from Scotland and currently live in Glasgow with my Chow Chow, Yogi.

What is A Touch of Tartan about?

A Touch of Tartan is a blog that primarily focuses on fashion and beauty - the name pretty much says it all. I wanted to do a blog that focused on up to date fashion and beauty news, outfit creations, celebrity style on a budget and hot sales and discounts. I wanted to prove that we can still look as great as the latest celeb but still live within our means, after all we can't all afford Christian Louboutin or Yves Saint Laurent, right?

How long have you been blogging for?

I started my blog whilst at university. It has been running for just over 3 years although I took a considerable break from it and have now returned after getting the blogging itch.

What do you do when you are not at work or blogging?

When I am not at work or blogging, I love catching up with my favourite tv shows - Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Real Housewives series and Vampire Diaries (I adore Vampire Diaries). I am addicted to Netflix - too many Tv Shows to keep up with.

I have recently started a fitness regime and plan on keeping fit right into the new year. This will be a challenge for me as I am a complete couch potato!

Do you have any goals or ambitions?

I would love to be successful in my career, for my blog to reach new heights and live in the United States one day - I would love to live in a warmer climate in a colonial style home :)

Thank you to everyone who has visited the blog over the years & a warm welcome to anyone that's new :)

Laura

California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy

consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected
and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy. -

or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
