Styled Up Link-Up

Blazer (Zara)  | Top (Zara)  | Printed Pants  (c/o) | Heels | Bag (LYDC)

Today's weather was absolutely horrendous. It has rained non-stop from this morning and that is set to change to snow as of later tonight. Taking outfit photos against gorgeous sunny backdrops isn't always so easy, here in Scotland, but if you are looking for a gloomy rainy vibe, it sure won't leave you disappointed!!

One of my favourite types of trousers are the printed baggy kind. These beauties from Blue Vanilla are the latest piece to add to my collection of prints. I love the damask print and their shape. They are super comfy to wear with an elasticated waist band. I've styled them with a little blazer and some nude pumps. I could wear this outfit on a date night or even to a restaurant with friends.

Oh .... No doubt you all will have noticed, I changed my hair colour and length last week .. back to my roots, that blonde was too hard to keep up with :)

Styled up Link-up

Every monday, I will be hosting a "link-up" where fellow bloggers can share their latest posts on A Touch of Tartan.

Link-ups are a great way to capture new readers but also discover new blogs to add to your follow lists. All bloggers will be able to submit their posts using the InLinkz widget below every Monday at 6am GMT.

Each link will run for one week and as we move forward, I may apply themes to each link-up but it is really up to you, what blog post you want to submit. You can submit more than one blog also, if you want. You can add style photos, beauty posts, lifestyle posts ... anything goes.

All I ask is that you simply follow your host, myself, via one or more social media channels and any other hosts who may guest host on the link-up. Please also mention the link-up on Twitter or a blog post. If you would like to feature as a guest host, please email me at atouchoftartan@outlook.com .... Lets go :)

This week's "Styled Up" co-host is the gorgeous Adriele from StyleAssisted. I first met Adriele through my link-up and have had the pleasure of a lovely blogger friendship, ever since. She has to have the best hair in the blogosphere, I absolutely love the colour of her locks and just wait until you meet her gorgeous little bubba, Alexander!

Adriele is a style (and recently beauty) blogger from the midwest in America. She is obsessed with shoes (aren't we all), and her new baby boy. She loves leather pants, a good pair of heels and great coats. She blogs every m-w-f and has a section devoted to men's style named "Guy Friday." She has styled people and photoshoots professionally, but now does the blog as a hobby in her (limited) free time- as she is a political consultant in the real world. She thinks every woman needs a good pair of jeans and some fabulous lipstick.

To learn more about Adriele, visit her here.

If you would like to co-host "Styled Up", one Monday, please contact Laura on atouchoftartan@outlook.com

  1. Thanks for letting me share again, Laura. I love the shoes you had on. The color is so close to your natural skin color. It is hard to find a nude color pair of shoes that is closest to my skin tone..

  2. Love your coat! :) You're doing well getting outfit pics in the rain - it's always so hard here to stay dry and get pics at the same time, haha!

Thank you for the link up :)
