So, I nipped to Tesco last night for milk - that's all I was going for. Instead, I came out with a number of fashion magazines and two of Rimmel London's new Provocalip Lipglosses.
It was the colours that caught my eye first of all and then the "gimmick" - a 16 hour kiss proof lip colour (not that I've got anyone to smudge my lipgloss, right enough).
Rimmel wasn't kidding when they said this gloss wouldn't budge. I literally had to vigorously scrub my lips (and arm) with a make-up removing face wipe and even after that, the colour was still there, faintly.
Rimmel has done a great job with this product. It's very pigmented, the end result is pretty much exactly what you see on the bottle, it does what it says on the tin - this won't budge. On top of that, its reasonably priced at £6.99 and comes in about ten different shades (roughly).
The product has two ends to it - one end is the gloss and the other is a lock and shine shield. Lock it, it does and it is uber shiny once applied. I'm definitely sold.
If you like sheer glosses, Provocalips is possibly not for you. It is a high shine, very pigmented lipgloss and is perhaps more appropriate for those who like bold lips - however, the nude colours would look great for day in the office and are not too in your face.
The colours you see above are: 730 (Make your move) and 200 (I'll call you).
Styled up Link-up
Every monday, I will be hosting a "link-up" where fellow bloggers can share their latest posts on A Touch of Tartan.
Link-ups are a great way to capture new readers but also discover new blogs to add to your follow lists. All bloggers will be able to submit their posts using the InLinkz widget below every Monday at 6am GMT.
Each link will run for one week and as we move forward, I may apply themes to each link-up but it is really up to you, what blog post you want to submit. You can submit more than one blog also, if you want. You can add style photos, beauty posts, lifestyle posts ... anything goes.
All I ask is that you simply follow your host, myself, and any other hosts who may guest host on the link-up, and mention the link-up on Twitter or a blog post. If you would like to feature as a guest host, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .... Lets go :)
